Health problems are one of the greatest sources of insecurity while travelling. What to eat and what not? Insects and parasites? Natural dangers, animals, weather, accidents... In an unfamiliar environment where the resources are unknown health problems can be critical. In some places medical personnel are scarce or poorly trained. Medication and medical equipment can be scarce or not available. To help you face difficulties when confronted with health problems, we are developing a compendium of symptoms and a guide for appropriate action. This guide is being developed under the council of accredited medical practitioners. When we have completed this work it will be included in our Travel Health section.
